Hope Center for Arts & Technology Executive Director Tom Roberts greets Farrell High School student Vernon Hawkins as he steps off the bus at Penn State Shenango on Tuesday to enter the college for the first class in a new after school program in ceramics. The Hope Center partnered with Penn State – who donated their new Ceramics Lab and its materials for the class – for the pilot program that will eventually include students from Western PA and Eastern Ohio.
